I only missed two on the Coulter/Hitler challenge, but I was judging on the quality of the writing rather than the content - boy, AC just can’t write, can she? For a conservative, she clearly has not studied any great orators or styles - she swings wildly between pedantic sarcasm and aggrieved, holier-than-thou patriotism. It just makes my skin crawl. In a rhetoric class, our TA once chose to place her second (i think) book, Treason, against Understanding Power - an interesting contrast, but he had to end up apologizing. “Even in the name of debate I can’t sanction having forced you all to buy this terrible book - I am so sorry.”
